dance Immersion’s 30th Anniversary Gala is a special fundraising event to support dance Immersion’s bold future, while celebrating the success of their first 30 years of championing African Diasporic dances in Canada through the legacy of founder, Vivine Scarlett.

Eastminister United Church Gymnasium
Moonhorse Dance Theatre share Dancing Into Summer sessions! These classes foster a ‘come as you are’ exchange between all dance levels of participants. Led by facilitators including Nova Bhattacharya, Bee Pallomina, Bonnie Kim, and Michelle Silagy, each class is designed to welcome mature moving bodies in an exploratory, inspiring environment. We invite any person 45+, encouraging folks both professional and non-professional to join us!
JUNE at Jamii

The Jamii Hub
“JUNE at Jamii”, under the vision of lead artist Nickeshia Garrick, explores the connection between the Caribbean and Central America through cross-cultural nuances and similarities in the customs, food, clothing, music, dances and rhythms. “Connectedness” reminds us that we are all part of the collective searching for moments to relate to one another.

On June 21, 2024, the iconic live performance party is returning to Toronto! Short&Sweet features a roster of artists from an eclectic range of styles and aesthetics. All have the freedom to create whatever they want, as long as it is under three minutes in length.
